Bible

Illinois Central Christian School is a place where Christ is honored and life is balanced.

A balanced Christian life is first and foremost centered on the Word of God. Our desire for our students is that they not only excel in academics, but also in wisdom and in character. At Illinois Central Christian School, Christian is more than just a name; it’s a way of life.

Let us be clear, it is not the students that make our school “Christian.” Our students are young and learning to grow in Christ. What makes a Christian school “Christian” is the atmosphere in which the teaching takes place, the programs of the school, and the staff that instructs the children.

At Illinois Central Christian School, we strive to provide an atmosphere that is balanced, biblically centered, and Christ honoring; and our staff members share our same conviction. We are proud to offer Bible classes and chapel for every age group every single week. Our Bible classes are taught by the pastors of Bay View Baptist Church. Speakers from all over the area are brought in to preach the Word of God during chapel. Every single subject is taught from a biblical perspective. Everything we do is centered around Christ and the Word of God, for the Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
